Maternal IL-6 response negatively correlated with adult offspring SST mRNA in cortex and striatum, but not hippocampus. These results show lasting inhibitory-related deficits in cortex and striatum in adult offspring from MIA. SST downregulation in specific cortical and striatal subregions, with additional deficits in somatostatin-related signalling through SSTR2, may contribute to some of the adult behavioural changes resulting from MIA and its timing.]]> Wed 26 Oct 2022 14:26:13 AEDT ]]> Mismatch negativity (MMN) in freely-moving rats with several experimental controls https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:16819 Wed 11 Apr 2018 17:19:46 AEST ]]> Mismatch negativity: translating the potential https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:20577 Wed 11 Apr 2018 12:29:02 AEST ]]> Neonatal immune activation depletes the ovarian follicle reserve and alters ovarian acute inflammatory mediators in neonatal rats https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:33905 Tnfa, mitogen-activated protein kinase 8 (Mapk8/Jnk1), and growth differentiation factor 9 (Gdf9) (P < 0.05). Mass spectrometry and cell signaling pathway analysis indicated upregulation of cellular pathways associated with acute phase signaling, and cellular survival and assembly. Apoptosis assessed by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling indicated significantly increased positive staining in the ovaries of LPS-treated neonates. These findings suggest that increased proinflammatory signaling within the neonatal ovary may be responsible for the LPS-induced depletion of the primordial follicle pool. These findings also have implications for female reproductive health, as the ovarian reserve is a major determinate of female reproductive longevity.]]> Wed 09 Feb 2022 15:58:52 AEDT ]]> The Effect of Schizophrenia Risk Factors On Mismatch Responses in a Rat Model https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:50563 Tue 01 Aug 2023 10:18:31 AEST ]]> Do rat auditory event related potentials exhibit human mismatch negativity attributes related to predictive coding? https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:40979 Thu 21 Jul 2022 09:06:15 AEST ]]> Investigating the gut-brain axis in a neurodevelopmental rodent model of schizophrenia https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:49926 Thu 15 Jun 2023 11:48:35 AEST ]]> Mismatch responses and deviance detection in N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor hypofunction and developmental models of schizophrenia https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:29247 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:36:51 AEDT ]]> Criteria for determining whether mismatch responses exist in animal models: focus on rodents https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:29233 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:36:47 AEDT ]]> The neurobiology of MMN and implications for schizophrenia https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:24453 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:17:23 AEDT ]]> Adolescent cannabinoid exposure interacts with other risk factors in schizophrenia: a review of the evidence from animal models https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:38431 Mon 29 Jan 2024 18:00:59 AEDT ]]> The role of glutamate neurotransmission in mismatch negativity (MMN), a measure of auditory synaptic plasticity and change-detection https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:43587 Mon 26 Sep 2022 13:48:49 AEST ]]> Effects of immune activation during early or late gestation on schizophrenia-related behaviour in adult rat offspring https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:33142 Mon 03 Sep 2018 12:55:09 AEST ]]> A rodent model of anxiety: The effect of perinatal immune challenges on gastrointestinal inflammation and integrity https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:36750 Fri 03 Jul 2020 09:05:42 AEST ]]>
